At Lake Molunkus, you have an excellent chance for that trophy whitetail deer of a lifetime. Deer Hunting

Lake Molunkus Sporting Camps is located in Wildlife Management District 11. While the deer population density here is not as great per square mile as in the southern part of the state, you have a much greater chance for that trophy of a lifetime.

The area surrounding the camps has an abundance of logging roads, dense woodlands, abandoned farms, old orchards and fields, and old and new harvested areas. Such varying habitat creates ideal conditions for big whitetail deer. During deer season, we offer the American Plan only, which includes 3 meals, pillow, pillowcase, blankets, towels and soaps. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag or sheets. Check-in is Sunday afternoon.  Check-out is Saturday morning.  Cost is $360 weekly.

Firearm season runs for four weeks ending the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Muzzleloader season for District 11 runs the following week. Hunting in this country can be tough and success often depends on weather conditions and hunter skill.
